Please note this kit is a Pre-Order.  Our best intention is to post your Heirloom Advent Calendar kit by the end of January, in plenty of time for you to sew and be ready for Advent 2025!  Any additional items ordered with a 'pre-order' will be posted at this time.  Please place a second order, should you require an 'in stock ~ ready to ship' item more urgently.  Thank you in advance! 

Sarah says... " I have designed with lots of love the most beautifully festive (and quite big!) Advent Calendar, which will grant you hours of festive happy stitches.  Once made, it will provide further joy every year as part of your annual traditions leading up to the big day itself. 

 
The calendar is sewn in the main using my favourite gorgeously soft, white linen blend fabric and features pockets upon which, you will be embroidering little Christmas motifs using stunning Aurifil Lana Wool threads with a little extra touch of gold sparkle, having finally discovered a metallic thread that I enjoyed using and therefore felt happy to include.
 
In addition you'll be stitching a co-ordinating set of felt decorations, which themselves are inspired by 'iced sugar cookie' shaped gift tags.  Plus, the calendar has a dedicated space to display these as you countdown to Christmas Eve.  This is the advent calendar of my dreams and has my heart and soul in every stitch!  Wishing you lots of festive happy stitches, Sarah xo"
 
The Heirloom Advent Calendar kit includes:
  • Our beautifully soft, cotton/linen fabric for the calendar itself and where needed will come pre-printed with the embroidery pocket designs, so need to transfer
  • 10 spools of Aurifil Lana Wool threads curated by Sarah for the calendar
  • Gorgeous metallic thread and 12wt thread for the hand quilting
  • 100% cotton fabric for the lining and backing 
  • Natural linen blend fabric for the binding 
  • 100% cotton wadding, so the calendar is nice and squishy
  • Gorgeous wool/rayon felt for the decorations
  • Pretty ribbons, buttons and trims
  • A 2 piece acrylic gift tage shape template set
  • And of course detailed instructions for the the calendar pocket embroideries, calendar construction and felt tags, with full size template sheets for the felt decorations.

  • An adult wooden coat hanger to display your completed Advent Calendar from.  (One with a trouser bar similar to the example shown in the photograph).
