Here is everything* that you will need to make your very own 'Flora and Fauna Alphabet Sampler' just like the one that Sarah made.

Sarah says....."This project started last year as a daily painting/sketching exercise, whereby I gave myself a little window at the start of each day to be creative, the only constraint being to follow the alphabet. From this, I then starting thinking about turning my little paintings into embroidery designs and focusing the content of them to a theme. As always, my heart was drawn to nature and so the Flora and Fauna Alphabet Sampler came to be.

Just to say, whilst this is possibly the most detailed embroidery kit to date, please do not be intimated by this, in addition to the written instructions provided with the kit, for all the stitches used you can find video tutorials within our FREE 'Sarah's Favourite Embroidery Stitches' course and to help you with the hand quilting and binding elements, further video tutorials can be found in our FREE 'Beginners Guide to Patchwork and Quilting' course...both of these are on our Schoolhouse Website. The kit contains:

Detailed instructions
Pre-printed cotton/linen mix fabric for the embroidery sampler.
20 Full Skeins of DMC stranded cotton embroidery threads.
A spool of Aurifil 12wt cotton for the hand quilting
Backing fabric
Wadding/Batting
Binding fabric

The finished sampler measures approx.14” x 15 ½”.

*Everything you will need except for the piecing threads (Sarah used Aurfil 50wt #2311), embroidery needles, plus of course your favourite sewing notions!
